I started as an economist, who believed that a lot of the world’s problems could be solved by learning this one topic. As time went on I became a business engineer focused on solving various problems that involved people using Data Analytics and realised how wrong I was to have one subject dictating my thinking process. Over time I got used to being wrong and making mistakes. But it was those moments that I cherish as they helped me grow to become the person I am. The realisation that I was wrong was like an epiphany; that the world made sense once more.
Which is why I’m researching about how we can continually evolve how to make sense of the world. Especially when we view ambiguous information such as quantitative data and connect them with our own observation. As we gather new data and information, how easy we are to change our perception.
Aside from all of this, I also learn and observe about myself and surroundings through photography, where I also continuously try to make sense of the world from my own perception.
