I’m Priyashi, a business graduate who loves jewelry and has immense passion for prison welfare work. The most exciting part of working for me lies in collaboration. These values guided me in creating a jewelry line for young girls that started as a creative idea and was eventually converted into a business plan where I conceptualized the line and collaborated with young designers to create it.
My passion for prison welfare also led me to collaborate with people involved in meta-physics healing, and with them, leading 2 workshops with around 200 prisoners across 2 prisons in India. Working on this course is expanding my horizons of collaboration where I am getting to work with not only multidisciplinary people but also multicultural. I am currently interested in researching how precious jewelry can be made meaningful. I would love to engage in a collaboration where I am working with jewelry and prisoners someday!
