I  propose to use business model innovation to address the current gap between luxury fashion brands  and the second-hand market in order to contribute to the transition from a linear system to a circular economy. By exploring system thinking and an insightful lawsuit, I have revealed the complex relationship between luxury fashion retailers and the secondary market, using current retail examples to demonstrate the feasibility of such business model innovation. After conducting primary research, the research will further discuss the practical aspects in relation to organisational capability and managing stakeholder relationships.
