Having lived across 4 different continents – Tokyo, Sydney, Boston and London – “curiosity” is the biggest driver that gets me moving anywhere. I’m a lover of modern world history, science fiction novels, cultural anthropology, street photography and breakfasts. I also like to ponder. These odd accumulation of my interests led me to become a graphic designer working for diverse range of clients including museums, fin-tech startups, research organisations, event companies and independent fashion boutiques. For my final MA Innovation Management research, I intend to extend my practice to the field of technologies and design. I aim to explore how data can be responsibly designed to expand human capabilities and possibilities in the field of service innovation. How do we situate data within the innovation management processes? And how can data be used to develop better services for the common good?
