My research explores how the art market and its hidden layers could inform the approach to  managing innovation. Both fields are characterised by uncertainty, high opacity and the importance of knowledge management as the key for success.

The art market has many opportunities for disruption – confronted by an opaque landscape and volatile movements. I am interested in describing patterns of the practice of art dealing as an essential link from artist to market, and mapping the behaviours of the art dealer to compare and contrast the innovation management practice, in order to generate insights into the field of innovation management.
